What data variable(s) are useful to determine when a customer record should be classified as active or inactive? August 25, 2007

I’d agree fundamentally. Some companies would say 18 months instead of 2 years, and some would say it’s _any_ kind of transaction: orders or returns, payments or refunds, customer service interaction, etc.

But you’re on the right track – but each company has to define it’s own detailed answer to this general question.
